acronym和abbr非常相似，只不过acronym用来标注首字母缩写，首字母缩略词可以用一个单词的发音连续读出来而一般缩略词只能按照字母逐个读出来。在IE 6中acronym元素的标签内容和普通文字没有什么区别，而在其他浏览器中acronym元素包含的文字下方也会出现圆点下划线。
